About me

Hi there! My name is Xamy and I am from a beautiful country, whose name is Colombia! I grew up in a small town in the North-East, then I went to Medellín to study at University. In that city was when I met my (now) husband. He was visiting Colombia and what started as a friendship, today is a beautiful marriage.

I have a small family; my husband, my dog and me. We three like to spend our free time hiking and exploring National Parks. Beside that, I also like to do puzzles and to drink coffee (of course).

My Story

When I came to the United States, my husband's family gave me my first professional camera because they knew that I loved (and love) to take pictures. Since that moment, everything I see through my lenses is happiness, unforgettable memories, the start of a story or the moment of the exact emotion that makes us feel alive and in love with our surroundings.

I started taking Landscape Photography and posting it on my Instagram account. Then, one day, one of my friends hired me to take pictures of her wedding! Then I was taking pictures in their relatives birthdays parties. After that, many other opportunities came to my photography life and now I can't imagine a life without my lenses because immortalizing moments is all what I want. For me, the best part of this job is what I share with you; the package of memories that will make you smile every time you see the photos.
